I like this. A nice simple concept that sends a message. The main rounded rectangle can be interpreted as a tv or a radio. You may have a problem with readabilty when zoomed out. But otherwise, good job!
Art D. made some critiques, OP didn't appreciate them, OP got mad.
He claimed they were his own drawings, I provided links with the "references". He also claimed that he does have accounts to clip art sites. I pointed out some if not all of his work was merely clip art and random fonts, but that that is ok, there is a market out there for 14$ logos, if that's his thing.
OP deleted all comments and went back to Dribbble, I assume.
Thanks for the comments folks! Yes I did indeed get busy working on the id manual for this company. Ended up fine tuning the logo by darkening the blue a little and making the type a cool grey colour. Looks much more balanced now.
I guess I missed some drama?
Creativebits is a blog about creativity, design and Macs. We also have a critique section where you can post your work to get opinions and a forum to discuss any design related topics.

The problem I have is that the empty box seems to compete in hiarchy with the name of the company.
Also, it might be more interesting if "entertainment" were in a different san serif font?

I'm going to use this word once, and once only.

living on dreams and custard creams.
my problem is trying to draw the connection between the name and the image.
visually, i just dont feel anything "entertaining"
if the name was corus "productions" i could better swallow the whole mattebox metaphor...
Reverse "Corus" out of the box.
Hello.
I wonder if my hand can fit through there.
