Cupid's Arrow

This logo is for a Matchmaking business. It is supposed to be more targeted towards men than women. The owner's only requirement was to have an arrow in the logo somewhere. This is the version the client chose (i gave her many options starting with sketches/different concepts, etc....Let me know what you guys think! Thanks

Very Clean logo

This is a clean logo that should appeal to a man. My only thought is that I wonder about the gray to black variegated text. I would like to see an all black as it is now the words look washed out.. Just my opinion.

Nice work!

I like agree with Studio Lou Lou--lose the gradation within the text. I like the reverse use of the arrow--very sharp. I would flush the Sacramento text with the logo and perhaps bold up to hold the lines when reduced in size.

The logo looks great, but

The logo looks great, but the name and the style are very feminine in appearance, IMO. A stronger, more techy font might attract the guys to this site a little better. I'd also remove the 'shine' from the logo so you ensure legibility. Then start adding those types of flourishes later once the logo is approved.

i agree, it looks much more

i agree, it looks much more feminine than masculine to me. love the arrow concept, but the fonts are definitely not targeted to men.

Thanks guys!

I appreciate the feedback. The gradient was just supposed to be for the web (which might still be nixed), in print it will be solid black. Thanks again for the comments, I would love to here more feedback from others!
