sweet mother mary and joseph! this is SOOOO much better!
all the elements are starting to work together instead of fighting each other
the "Precision" part can still use some tweaking as now it feels kind of static. and id like to see a bit more articulation in the figure - but as an ensemble, this is a huge, HUGE improvement!
one thing i do notice after multiple views is that it starts to look like rhythmic gymnastics - you know, the floor exercise with the twirly ribbon? not that thats a bad thing...
Really an improved version from the first we'd seen!
Congratulations, now we can breath, you used type as movement, well done.
It's personal but don't know if the colors give us "life" or freshness... you could try a bit lighter grey for the dancer to reduce the contrast or make it same color as type but a little darker/lighter. It's common to us try to focus our good insights but sometimes it's better to be more subtle yet. Maybe I prefer same color but different graduation.
"Dance Company" type could be improved yet. Maybe more spaced from line (don't know if logo needs so extended line) and this kind of tag could be balanced for don't compete with logotype pregnancy, I prefer some type more related to "Precision" because the actual are so "mainstream".
yes I'm brazilian xD
thanks guys- i finally got a chance to really sit down and work on it - i know the ideas there - ill get it! WGZN ur killing me with the rhythmic gymnastics because i cant get it outta my brain since the hula hoop comment ;-) but after going thru tons of silhouettes with the owner - this is the one she wants to use - so its just up to good ole ang (thats me!) to make it work!! i know u guys dont dance but the girl is doing whats called 'an attitude' - its a pull out from a turn - very common - so being that i see this move all the time, i feel different about it, i guess...
i still need to mess with lettering - agreed! but the line is something that i keep questioning (i agree dance company needs to come down - will do)
but on a funnier note - i googled dance studios to see what kind of logos are out there - jeeeeze, its bad, real bad - looks like most of them were created in Word by someones best friends little brother who kinda knows how to use a computer lol... its pretty funny - google it if u want some laughs...
thanks guys - i really appreciate the critiques - its the bads that make it good!!!

Congrats this is way better, first i have to say that the whole rythmic gimnastic issue is because of the font you are using for precision, the P looks like the ribbon, have you tried a different font with the same idea. and again that silohuete is still odd, take a picture and try maybe in 2 tones of grey just to show which leg is which, maybe that will help
i dont think its JUST the P. its the font in general. its very "wispy."
but again, i dont think the connection to rhythmic gymnastics is a "bad" thing. they do use props in dance sometimes, dont they?
i like it. the only suggestion i might have is to make the person more simple, less detail and more abstract like the typography
