I also wanted to incorporate circles and possessive song lyrics. The image is of Darby Crash, the late frontman of The Germs, and the text is lyrics of certain Germs songs written in 1st person(at least in my interpretation).

I would situate spending sometime with the letter forms to create visual cues, emphasis. All the type doesn't have to be on the same line or same direction. Experiment with different colors, size and alignment. Even if a few word pop out I think it would work! But, I see where your going with this...go job.
I'm liking the concept, but don't like how the image of Darby is sliced off at the bottom. Either bleed that off the bottom of the page or soften that edge to bleed into the background as you've done with the hair.
