Wanted a dark website that could be used by the "boy racer" but also the general public - so its gotta be clear and easy to understand.

It looks pretty good. Just a couple things: The logos on the left look abit akward, going over that fold and such, might want to move them. And I'm not sure what those top right elements are lined up with.

generally very nice. very clean, nice palette. i do think the top bar feels a little... plain. the logo feels like it's floating in a lot of space there, looks a little odd. and the phone number is ginormous, like it's in the equivalent of 48 pt printed.
DPC is right about the peugeot logo being in an awkward location. you're kinda slicing it.
Overall solid.
You've hit the classic male audience buttons pretty well. The hiearchy is clear and clean.
I do think the submenu background red is too bright for white text. I would tone it down just a tad, maybe 10-20% value to make it more readable.
The biggest problem with using red is that it also signifies danger/stop/warnings. Dropping the value will help with that as well.
I actually like the Peugeot logo placement, but I don't think the Peugeot folks would care for it at all.
I wouldn't make the phone number that big unless the client REALLY wants people to call them instead of using whatever website features they have. But if it's really that important, you have enough negative space and balance to have it that big, IMO. The green "good garage" block does fall outside of your grid for reasons that aren't clear to me.
All really fantastic points guys. Cheers for your help.

Good site, but not very boy racerish, nor very racerish in general. I know tire tread and checkered flags are done to death, so maybe make the auto logos more prominent?
Yes, I said make the logos bigger. :)
