dead mac, unfinished worx :(

i'm lookin' for power supply (g4 733 quicksilver 2001) AcBel 661-2514. I found some in the net, and here's problem with shipping to Poland from US or other countries. any ideas? anybody has problem like mine? any ideas, suggestions?

Have you tried pressing the CUDA switch? Maybe you don't need a whole new Power Supply, just tell what happened and there's a chance it can be fixed easily if we know. If you're sure the power supply blew, take it to a technician and have him solder and whack it into shape. It's lots cheaper than a new PS, and does the trick.

my friend will buy psu in us and send it to me. i've this g4 since 5 years, and no need another crash after d.i.y. repair. mabe it isn't cheapest way, but i don't wanna new mac in next 5 years :)

take your harddrive out, insert it into another mac or on a linux system.
(windows wont be able to read the file system)
back up the whole thing :)

i unpluged all usb suff. mac back from the dead!!! i started test usb devices. result: keyboard has short-circuit and when i plug it to g4, he's shut down. i'm so happy. $25 for new keyboard, not $180 for new power supply unit.
