Dead or Alive--Fav' Artist!
3dogmama (1991 pencils) | Thu, 2008-03-20 05:25Working late tonight and images of Salvador Dali's works keep popping into my head--specifically his Persistence of Memory. I've always been a sucker for the surreal--sometimes comes in handy in this line of work!
Who might your favourite(s) be?

I have too many favorite artists. Every single one has their own styles and techniques that I thoroughly enjoy. Just naming a few off the top of my head:
Michelangelo, Michael Whelan, Chariklia Zarris
I even named my pug after him—Pablo!
I am also a huge Andy Warhol & Lichenstein fan, as well.
If we're talking architects and/or industrial designers (since Nato brought FL Wright up—LOL), then I would say Charles & Ray Eames. They're so responsible for the mid-century design movement. LOVE IT!!!!
EDIT: I can't believe I forgot Frank Stella. OMG!!! Shameful...

I think I like Leonardo Da Vinci.
I would say my favorite artists is Brom. The darkness in his paintings just appeal to me.

Wasn't aware of this artist. Man, he's done a lot and done it well. I enjoyed his insightful words as well, especially his talk with the Devil at such a tender age.
Thanks for sharing.
