if the logo itself is NB new ballance classic (all words written in red) then no.
it looks like you're trying to write a sentence and replace the name of the company with the logo. (ex: M has good burgers). I always hated that.
if the logo is NB new ballance and the word classic belongs only to the tagline then again no, you have no reason to make that word look different from the tagline.
possible suggestions?
we need more details regarding the company, a mini brief or something.
but i can tell you what visually hurts no matter the purpose:
- "new balance" seems a bit out of balance with the NB. maybe a bit too long on the right side
- i see no reason to make the word classic bigger then new balance.
- something is not quite right with the holes of the B. maybe it just my morning hangover so i cant put my finger on it
- the logo looks a tad outdated and well it swims in waters full of fish that have the same style to it.

always outnumbered, never outgunned
In response to your questions about New Balance. They are a company who make sports wear, mainly trainers. The logo he has used is their own logo, although not the best it is still uneditable really.
As for th overall design, I agree with 'Flub' - why is "classic" so much bigger than the rest?
