pompo (998 pencils) | Fri, 2005-03-11 15:50How the heck do you disable the cache in Safari?
Is there a way? I looked under the preferences but nothing...
Every time I update my site and go online the older files shows up instead.
I have to do it with IE 5.2!!

Go to ~/Library/Caches/Safari and lock the Safari folder via the GetInfo command in the finder. You may have to have root access to do it though.

what does it say? do you want to post a screenshot. it should be possible.
when I command +i to get info on that folder, the "locked" check box is greyed out , so there is no way to lock it...I wonder if I gotta uninstall Safari Enhancer because also the "Empty cache" option under the Safari menu is greyed out.
