Gets straight to the point

And it's good to see some 'old school' visual communication thinking.

Good idea. Unfortunately I'm just about to head to bed so I won't comment on typography, etc. Hopefully someone else will fill in for me!

Keep the ideas rolling.

My first post

I'm new here, but here goes...

The drawn-outness of the text on the arrow seems to counteract the "getting straight to the point" bit. I'd play around with some other text configurations for the lead-in text. Also, you might consider getting rid of the arrow...the natural top to bottom flow of the text does the pointing for you, also it's rather distracting from the main point of your message at the bottom. It fights for my attention the whole time i'm trying to read the bottom text. Perhaps make a play on the word "point" and have everything white on black, and have the word point be black text inside a circle. If you're pretty set on the arrow idea, you could have an arrow coming down from inside the circle and pointing to your tagline, so if someone were to just glance at it, they'd first see "POINT" "BEING A FATHER MEANS BEING THERE." and then the rest of your piece. So you'd get your message across with minimal effort :)

The tagline subtext is clever, but seems a bit long to me. Maybe think about shortening it to something more mentally "digestible"
Also, don't forget the apostrophe in "Let's".

Hope this helped :)

Being a father myself, i like the direction, just needs some tweaking. =) I dislike the arrow-head.
