Drupal 4.7 theming
mck (0 pencils) | Tue, 2005-12-27 15:09I've been beta-testing Drupal 4.7. I found two bugs - turns out that those bugs were in 4.6 too, so no big deal. Overall it seems to be working good.
Just two comments -
1.User profile now uses the same div class as the quick comment
2.Tabs now have different CSS entires
Otherwise, 4.6 themes port nicely to 4.7. Just 2 things to fix when CB gets ported to 4.7. Btw phpTemplate now seems to be standard.

Have you seen that now you can put blocks anywhere, not just on the left or right? It was about time to put phptemplate standard. I really like all the Ajaxy speed-up features. The Drupal UI team managed to use AJAX only where it was helpful and didn't overdo it just for the sake of it. That's really great.
Yes, coincidentially just now I'm working on a site that has a block in the footer. Great stuff.
