Drupal RSS bug

Here's a stupid bug! It happens on all Drupal sites, including mine. Maybe we can work out a solution as this affects CB too. When you link to an image or a page on your site as files/something.jpg, it does not appear on the RSS page. You have to enter the full link cb.org/files. It is easy to guess why this is happening, but one would expect an RSS thingy to open a link from site root, and not from /node/feed/files/something.jpg. (Until then, provide full links to everything in your posts and articles.)
