d-street
robhel (5 pencils) | Mon, 2010-03-29 00:35This is a logo for a new company on Dutcher Street. (hence, the name). D-Street sells "green" alternatives to using a ziploc baggie to wrap sandwiches in and will eventually branch out to other eco-friendly products.

i dont know where dutcher street is. but around here "d-street" is kind of old-school hip-hop sounding...
but if this isnt your company, thats probably not your problem. but i dont think this design conveys anything "green" either.
looks more like a convenience store to me...
Hmmm... it's not quite saying anything at the moment.
Bit obvious, but try everything in green, and perhaps but a white leaf in the 'D'?

the only thing i see when i look at these logos is children's toys.
Agree with gwells...my immediate reaction was Sesame Street, but your 'Street' font is cheery and friendly/approachable.
Not sure on the orange tho....might take miklad's green suggestion.
Of the 3 presented, only the top 1 works for me and it still needs to "green" up either with colour or brand mark.

This is only one (bad) idea presented in 3 different ways. Come up with 3 different ideas - preferably good ones.
don't like this fonts.
it's CRAZY outdated.
and I have a good suggestion IF YOU bring us a better typed rough...
yes I'm brazilian xD
It looks like a skateboard shop logo.
Let the niche determine the direction for font, colour and form choices. People should be able to look at it and KNOW what kind of company it is or what it sells. Consider Nike's logo: The simple action-line (swoosh) is about motion and energy, which relates contextually to their product lines.
