Description:
Create a DVD package for viewing.
Shot live at a local movie theater.
Over 30 "actors" involved.
Over an hour of footage.
Shot from two separate performances.
It was a fun project and incorporated everything I love. Design. Photography and Video. Not high budget or overly produced. A nice package all the same.
I would love to be able to show some of the footage. Maybe I'll try some screen shots later.
Thanks for looking.

Nice. Clean, easy-to-read,
Nice. Clean, easy-to-read, and the dramatic imagery will work to draw the interest of the viewer .
I liked your highlight of "actors". I'm assuming you were directly involved with them? I've written plays that have been staged in small theatre and was also roped into directing another writer's play. Most of the "actors" were wonderful to work with, while others' egos were so huge and made life difficult for everyone around them. Those were the type that you really wished hadn't left their offices and picked up a script. Can you say BOOB?
I would love to view some of the footage if you get a chance to post it.

Papyrus?
Clean, simple, easy to read. It works.
Papyrus (groan)
I had to do a logo for a travel agency specializing in "holy land" tours, so I know there can be appropriate uses of this oh-so-overused font. Your subject is certainly one of them. I wonder, though, if your project wouldn't be more distinctive if you tried a different font for the title, since it is so common in religious (Christian) publications, which I realize could be part of its charm for the target audience. Was the title carved in stone when you got this job, or did you have some say in the matter? Whatever the case, there needed to be some tweaking of the words to keep the descender in "Worthy" from tickling "the."

Cool, finally some dvd
Cool, finally some dvd design. You don't know how much of this I did between 2004 and 2007. More than I can count! He he.
I'm not really blown away by this design to be honest. The papyrus font is WAY over done and there's really no color; nothing really stands out here. I would have chosen a font that conveys the age and sincerity of the content, maybe something more bold?
For the usage this design is fine, so take my comments with a grain of salt. I'm coming from a more retail-oriented perspective on this one. I was told to 'make it pop off the shelf' quite a lot. Yuk, hate that phrase!
Thanks for posting!

Powerpoint is not a design application
Exactly
Exactly what I was about to say. I don't really like Papyrus...even though it has biblical connotations. I think perhaps the photography could be improved on the front.
Would work well in a church book shop though :)
Keep up the DVD design work ;)
