I think the colors are a bit dark, black on dark gray isn't they best combination.
There is no gray, it's all black. minus the earmark tag on the 'E'
Regardless, i think the background should be a lighter color, the 'web design' just a tad lower, and maybe the bold e the same consistency. I think, if were looking at this logo in its current state, the black color on the text is so close to the background color, its almost indistinguishable. It needs contrast, like black and white. Nevertheless, The 'web design' should be lower for aesthetics, and e not bold because it almost makes its own logo on top of everthing else
The E and armark really should be the same font weight. It almost appears they are two different fonts. I'm not sold on the choice of font to begin with, but if you're going to use it, I would HIGHLY suggest you manually kern the word. The spacing between letters is pretty bad.
And I also agree that the "Web Design" should be moved down a bit.
Overall though, I'm not sure I "get it." What does the luggage/sale/price tag have to do with Web design?

"Web design" should be brought down, and I would play around with the font size and kerning. I also don't like the bolded "E", it looks awkward and makes the entire logo look heavy on the left side, I just keep waiting for it to tip over!! And again, what the hell is this business about?? Why is it called earmark and why does it have a tag?
Personal opinion: this doesn't thrill me and even if you made the changes I sugested, it still wouldn't thrill me. Perhaps I'll have a different opinion, if I knew more behind the company and it's message.
1. Remove "Web Design". This is a logo, not marketing or advertising piece. Save what the company does for your branding campaign.
2. Remove the dark gray background. It's not part of your logo.
3. How does the tag on the "E" work when both are black?
Otherwise this has some great potential.

I updated the image for white background. (It was transparent previously).
Everything to be said has already been said.
That looks more like a tag to me.
The logo has great potential, but you seem to be stuck on the same idea. I could think of at least two or three alternatives that would work just as well, in my opinion anyways. Grab that pencil and paper and explore! This is your logo for your baby, put some love into it!

Try a slab serif? Just throwing it out there incase you're not happy with this font.
Thanks for the constructive criticism. I will take it to light, and redesign the logo and represent it.
You should work for the espacement.
