East 47 is a restaurant in Barcelona.
The restaurant is very contemporary (with many andy warhol lithographs).
East 47 is famous for it's wine list and that is where i tried to go with the logo.

Damn, this is fine! I love that the 47 looks like a knife and fork, or a wine glass. The font for "east" seems a little unsettled, maybe because of the vastness of the letter "a" relative to the tighter "s" and "t" -- maybe they could do with a little more breathing space -- but I like it!

Initially i didn't have in mind a fork and a knife at all. But some people saw that before seeing the glass of wine.
For this reason, I changed the color on 47 from orange (which is more "food"), to the color of wine.
Do you think it hurts that it looks like both?
It is a restaurant that is known for it's wine list.

I think it's a PLUS that it looks like both -- or rather, SUGGESTS both. I really like it.
It also suggests a tuning fork, so if they have live music there, so much the better :-)

Thats a creative idea with the #47, and great use of that font choice, only input I have is to capitalize the East so you send the message across that it is the name of an important company.
