I can't imagine the name Epic hasn't ever been used before in a design context, so make sure you can actually use the name before going too far with it.
Remove the word "Design". It shouldn't be part of your logo unless it's part of your business name. If it's not part of your name, only use it in marketing pieces - that's what it's good for.
