Eric Clapton
This one is one of my all time favs. Eric Clapton, done in collage. For this project, which was done in school, I was only allowed to use news paper clippings. Instead of using blocks of text as tones, I just decided to use flat tones, mostly from the advertisements and photos.

Excellent rendition of EC and that you created it with newspaper as your medium is even more astounding. I thought it was gouache initially.

The projects outcome was quite interesting: some people used only blocks of text from the newspapers, some used a hole puncher and used the confetti to create their images. As much as I like this one though it can never do justice to Mr Clapton.

very nice, I like how you draw the glass w/ lens in it and it's drawn in newspaper. awesome. haven't tried this one. I just tried face in mosaic as part of the school project before. Did you color it or not?

When I scanned it I made it a black and white file, the original one has yellowed a bit over the years.
