ESFI (E-Sports Federation International) is an organization dedicated to competitive computer gamers around the world. They wanted a modern looking logo that is simple. Here is one of the finalist logos. Comments are welcome

looks like technology - looks hep enough for a teeshirt - perfect.
The F and I are a little hard to read, but otherwise really good work.
I'd say you hit the mark on modern and simple. I like the warping of the letters, it has sort of a wrapping effect that almost feels like it's encompasing the word "world". I think the continuation of the horizontal line that connects the letters also helps to reinforce the idea that the organization stretches to include, or bring togther gamers across the world.
