When exporting documents from illustrator cs4 it will add the artboard number to the file extension. Is there any way to override this feature?
I do a lot of web exporting and its very tedious to manually eliminate the "-01" "-02" "-03"s from my files. Its driving me insane.
Help me please!

Had a similar problem, ended up turning to a batch renaming program. Try this one http://www.stintercorp.com/br.php it works well for me.
