Which ones are you using? Got any of the Packs?
Yeah, I've had a dig through tons of them via links at iCompositions.com and MacJams.com, and most of them are either styles I don't want (too much techno/dance/effected drum machine squonks and brrrraps) or loops that simply didn't LOOP.
I've added the 3 free sample packs that are offered to .Mac subsrribers, but I haven't had a chance to really mess with them yet.
I need to start making my own.
iCompostions is currently offering 200 free loops to members...
have you done anything to show?
I've only done one song so far, way back when I first got GarageBand. I played around with starting one song, just to get a feel for how the app worked.
I scrapped it, then did the one linked below. I have another in the works, but this time I'm taking my time with tons of micro-editing. Plus, I want to add a bunch of my own guitar work. Presently, I'm exploring Native Instruments Guitar Rig software (make sure you check out the video and the trailer to see how it works). I have effects units, but this looks so nice and infinitely configurable.
