Extract icons from the system..

I just wonder howto get the icons of pdf and word document in 128x128 out of the system, where are they located..

I need to use them on my site..

Right click the application in question. Choose "Show Package contents". It will open the Application file. You can open Content/Resources and you should find an icon file .icns extension. You can drag that into Iconographer application and than copy the contents to PS.

You should actually drag the application itself to iconographer to open all the icons within the application.

It allows you to select any item in your system and extract the icon image in diferent file types you can choose :)

Ok, I know... It's only R'n'R ...but I like it.

I use Pixadex for extracting icons from Apps, either that or I use Ivan's method and get my hands dirty raking around inside of Finder windows.

If you like icons you should get hold of Pixadex, it bloody brilliant.
