Fairy Cakes Logo - HELP/INSIGHT

Very cute! I like the concept a lot.
I think if you maybe simplify a little (icing, etc) it would turn out really nice. Things like the glow around the wand don't add to the logo at all, and just kind of weigh it down.For this particular logo, the simpler the better, imo.
Also, why are the wings set at a lower opacity? It doesn't make them look transparent because the outline is a lower opacity as well.
The concept seems to be on the right track. I don't know what else to really say about it before seeing a rework. The copy needs to be a lot more legible.

...but it's looking sweet! On top of legibility issues, the font (handwriting) should be a little bolder. Ditto on the wings, ditto on the details in RE so Stephanies comment.
I'm loving this cupcakery idea, and we have a few here in Toronto!
