Thanks everyone so much for your suggestions! I have worked hard (and hopefully improved) the last design. I showed it to my client—who loves it—but I'm not giving her the files until Friday, so please, critique away!
*should I be linking this to the previous critique? and how, for future reference? sorry if I'm messing up the flow around here!
Thanks again, brilliant designers!

Hi Alissa, I didn't critique
Hi Alissa,
I didn't critique your last post, but I'll go ahead and critique this, if that's okay.
From what I understood, you were not paid to redesign the logo? I'll avoid my opinion on that, then. Overall it's looking good; however, with the monotone colour scheme my eyes are craving another colour. All the pink is a little overwhelming. It's probably a bit late to change it since you've already shown it to the client, though. I think in the future though, it might be good to add another contrasting colour for interest.
Before viewing the original, I thought that the button on the front of the card was a birds-eye view of a diamond because of the texture. Maybe going with a simpler button would clear up any confusion? Or maybe cutting out the holes so white shows through, as if it were actually sitting on a white background. It also looks a bit boring being completely symmetrical and center-aligned. . .
I like the swirl ornaments behind the button the white - but it's so light it looks like it would be lost in printing.
It looks like there is a bit of a kerning issue on the thinner font -- some of the words look quite squished together.
One more thing - the shape and size of the wristlet tag looks kind of like a fortune cookie fortune. Not sure if that's an important observation, but is an observation, nevertheless. ;)
Hope that helps! I like the direction this is going.

If you're going to use the button, I suggest going into illustrator and playing around with making a button as a vector. I say this because the pattern on the button can be somewhat distracting. also because if I hadn't seen the Front of the business cards with the multiple buttons on it, Im not sure if i would be able to figure out its a button very quickly.

I think you need to go back to the drawing board.
Also, why can't you tweak the logo a bit?
