The inaugural event will highlight the fashion industry that thrives in Southern California, presenting designers from the United States and Mexico. Collarfree.com is hosting the design competition from June 19 through July 17. The winning designer will receive $500 cash, an IPOD compatible backpack, digital picture frame, and recognition by the city of San Diego and Fashion Week San Diego.
