We artists are indestructible, even in a prison cell or concentration camp I would be almighty in my own world of art. Even if I had to paint my pictures with my wet tongue on the dusty floor of my cell. - Pablo Picasso
Well it makes some sense now, but the arrows have a very hand drawn feel to me. Maybe that's what you want (and some of the others liked it, so maybe it's just me). It does give it an organic kind of feel and it goes well with the font, but my aesthetic would be to spend a little more time getting those right. I'd also go just a smidge smaller on the "communications" - it's a little tight to the "y" in SyncBrains and smaller would help the proportions between the two words as well.
But these are minor nitpicks. It works for me - good job.
Is the word "communications" absolutely necessary? Otherwise, not bad.

some guys don't repair your negative "S", I like when it happens!
kudos for you :)
"communications" is wrong... I don't lile the space between "y" and "c"
I hate the "y" letter at all, it so ugly :P
maybe you need to capitalize the name of your brand.
Ronaldo! xD
I like it. Make communications smaller or delete it.
What a great name with huge potential. Unfortunately, I think you've missed a golden opportunity to be creative with the mark. I'd consider posting a concept that popped into my head but you're finished and that would be pointless.
Overall, it's not terrible and it's not great. I agree with the comments about some housekeeping regarding the type.
However, the biggest concern I see if with the arrows pointing in opposite directions. I would have expected both arrows to be flipped inward. They also have a twisted and disconnected feel.
On a more serious note... I hope you haven't sent files off to the printer. I can't find 'SyncBrains' in the U.S. Patent and Trademark database for registered wordmarks.
You can't put the registered trademark on something until your application has been approved. Technically you need to replace the ® with a ™.
Also, why is the ® floating above the wordmark? It's really distracting and appears misplaced. I'd recommend dropping it down to sit behind the top of the "s".
Creative NRG! you can still post your concept, concepts are always welcome.
the company basically will operate in India and we have got the registration for this! (the application has been approved)
thanks for pointing out the positioning of (R)! i will correct it
thanks everyone! :)
Okay, I've held off on commenting about this because I assumed you were married to the idea and it wsa a done deal. But now I really have to say the whole concept of the mark FIGHT the name of the company and, presumably, its work. NRG nailed the problem: the arrows are pointing in opposite directions. In your mind, they may be twisting like the stripes in an old-fashioned barber pole, but I don't see that. I see a logo selling apples for a company that sells oranges. Sorry, but I would tear your ideas apart and start fresh.
Mara
Mara! i appreciate your view but what is wrong with the arrows pointing in the opp. directions! i mean, that is what communication is, that we communicate in all directions! the other guy who is working with me has also commented the same thing in the previous post...... correct me if i am wrong
You're completely missing the point. With the arrows pointing in opposite directions you are visually communicating a 'difference of opinion', which isn't speaking to the word 'sync' in the company name.
I've held off posting my concept for a number of reasons... mainly I don't want to hijack a critique of what you've done and because I'm not being contracted for the design that could very well get ripped off.
Think 'brain, speak, sync'. You've got a really powerful opportunity there.
This is your one and only time to start with a great identity. My one piece of advice is to take your time and get it right. You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression.
Arrows pointing in two different directions suggests people who are not communicating at all. They are not even face-to-face. How can they see or hear each other, let alone engage in a dialog. What your logo portrays to me is the very antithesis of communication. But then, the word "sync" in your company name suggests two ore more people all talking at the same time, perhaps in unison, but certainly unable to listen to and absorb what the others are saying, unless they're all saying the same thing, but then, that's not communication, is it? That's twenty second-graders "pledging allegiance to the wall," to borrow a phrase from Paul Simon.
Mara
Well as long as we're being totally honest here...
I see what Mara and NRG are saying and agree to a certain point, although I think one can make the other argument as well - that the two opposing points come together to create the negative S space so they are "syncing" in that regard. And if you think it thru - reversing the arrows would still have them bypassing each other in opposite directions. This is one of those philosophical "issues" that leads to a lot of headaches at agency group think sessions. So 8 of one - 4 of the other (giving the others the benefit of the doubt:). But the other problem with the arrows is they have a real cheeseball quality to them. They aren't composed of the actual letterform "S" used in "Syncbrains". The lateral points are not symmetrical even if we account for the curvature of the imagined sphere (or more accurately - football shape). The external lateral points are not sharp. If you look at the negative "S" space - the endpoints of the letter have a crazy pseudo-serif thing happening. They would look better if the external points had the same curve as the internal points and then they would also be symmetrical. As I said, they have a real hand drawn quality to them - like a tattoo - not professional graphic design. There's an idea here - but it still needs work.
As always... jmho.
I called the arrows twisted and disconnected. You're technique critique of the logo is spot on and I share in the issues. Rarely from my experience do opposing points come together. The more you argue your point the more you other person will stand by what they believe.
My question is why they would be opposing in the first place?
Below is the feeling I get from the current arrows and no amount of justification will change that. Call this critique and logo a stalemate... let's agree to disagree. The fact that is was presented as 'final' and the extremely tight "y" and "c" haven't been adjusted speaks volume. I'm a bit upset with myself for spitting into the wind.
I think the whole idea of arrows runs counter to what this company is about. Two arrows facing each other? That's two Fox News idiots shouting at each other. Facing away? Hollering their own thoughts without a care what others think. Parallel and facing opposite directions? Ships passing in the night. Arrows chasing each other in a circle, like the recycling logo? Talking in circles and getting nowhere (kind of like we're doing here). The whole arrows thing just doesn't work for me at all. "Art" is correct in pointing out the flaws in the mark's negative space.
Come on, syncb, THINK! What problems does your company seek to solve? What message does it wish to convey about its mission? What, in fact, IS its mission? What is the GOAL of communication? Not just what is communication. What it it ideally supposed to accomplish for us? Why did our Creator give us vocal cords and thesauruses? I believe it's so we can understand each other in order that we might work and live together more efficiently and harmoniously. Maybe your logo could suggest that ideal.
Mara
Pick up sketch pad. Begin again.
As mentioned above, great name, weak logo.
Or...hire nrg.

Got the point! thanks mara, nrg, art d.rector and everyone else who took so much pain and pointing out the mistakes......... thanks everyone!
