Here's the latest version. decided to go in a more vertical look. I'm juggling having to keep the signage in mind for the restaurant and i just think that something vertical could look really nice on a stone clad column. maybe something in slate.
anyways, enough about the signage. Still my own font, but it feels familiar to something i've seen before. The "N" is what makes it different, and give it the feel of an actual fin sticking up out of the water.
feedback ALWAYS welcome

maybe wider and more of a swoop through the middle of the "N" would give you a better fin...??

This is definitely your strongest design for this logo.
The curved line below "CHOPHOUSE & SEAFOODS" doesn't exactly work for me...It feels out of place. I love the rest. Have you decided on colour yet? Or is this a b&w design?

I don't know yet.. i'm thinking of something in the darker blue range. looking really quickly i'm leaning towards an RGB of 10,80,130 or so..
i'm more then welcome to color suggestions too! :D
Been swamped with other work and need to get around to fine tuning this one then doing a 3D for the signage and color choices.
thx for the feedback
