I have no idea what the diffrence is... I have never expierenced a problem like this with FF XP and FF OSX... can you give me the address of the site in question?
Oh, is the FF XP the latest version? Maybe it's a screen res problem? If I can get a look at it I might be able to help. :c)

Address is http://macintalk.com, and there's a spacing issue on the Wintel version.
Woah. Okay. The CSS is bloated. Lots of inline styles... lots of hacks... lots of potential conflicts and/or typos. You can achieve the same layout with much less (and cleaner) code.
How profecient with CSS are you?
BTW it looks ok in IE6... not perfect but better then FF Win

It's just from Drupal. I'll look into cleaning it, but it's a mighty job.
Yes, a mighty job!

Fonts. Although this might not be a difference with the broswer itself, I find myself having to correct line breaks and other small tweaks because different fonts on different systems take up, wait for it, different space. This is the only real difference I have ever encountered.
Macs and PCs interpret/handle type differently on the web and that's probably what's causing your problems. There's nothing you can really do about it besides test on both PC and Mac to make sure your layout is ok.
