Firefox optimised for G5 processor

This fella has kindly recompiled the latest version of Firefox to be optimised for the G5 processors. I'm running it at work and there is a noticeable speed increase. He has also implemented the odd interface improvement, noticeably to form elements and buttons.

Good work, maybe he can look at the Flash player memory leak as well :)
Kind of begs the question as the why other software isn't optimised for specific processors?

I didn't see any G4 versions on that page, been getting mine from

cool icon too.
Have made the alterations and will download the G4 version to run at home on my decrepit old PB 400. Hopefully it will run better than some of the software I use at home, the poor old dear really can't cope with the latest software.
Thinks it's time to get a G5 at home.
