First run at new ad campaign
movieprodw (7 pencils) | Thu, 2009-05-07 04:25Hello,
I have never worked on a webpage marketing campaign and I was wondering if you thought this was a good start or if it was to flat.
I would love your ideas, I personally am finding it hard to work without photos but do not want to take away from the product.

I think everybody knows what a screen or a webpage looks like. That's not the message. You main visual or concept should talk about the advantage of the product or service being advertised. Can you summarize it in one sentence? If so we can help you with an idea.
instead of a computer monitor, play around with a for sale sign.. maybe have a network cable coming out of the sign? or a keyboard plugged into it. maybe that's too much, but you get my drift.. start with an immediately recognizable symbol for the industry (for sale sign, or house) then add or subtract from there without deviating from the main symbol too much.

What's up with people not having the original to look at!?
Anyway, this works but if you want something more creative and unconventional you should think outside the box.

I am not sure why there is no original to look at, I may have missed the spot to upload it.
I appreciate all of your comments!
I like gregs idea of really pushing the for sale sign, that is fun.
I have to drop this ad off at the magazine in the am but I will change it for next month, I have made some minor changes to this one but its pretty much the same.
I will have something more fun for you next time.
Thanks guys!
