Flash ads
Anders (413 pencils) | Tue, 2011-01-11 17:10These are two flash ads I made for the client I recently also made a logo for (my last critique).
For those who didn't see the previous critique, this is going to be a Scandinavian website about weight loss.
In the first link, the concept was to go from something fat into something lean, presenting the "click here" only once the lean person appears in order to subconsciously relate clicking with something good. Client insisted adding the Scandinavian flags to show it's not only in Norwegian, but in all three languages.
Same concept in the second ad. I bent the border in a lean fashion to reflect the purpose of the website. Green is used once again to symbolize the health part of weight loss.
I noticed the i in the second link is nudged, and it's already fixed in the original, so no point mentioning it.

No fat women in their underwear please! And why is your little "i" guy bouncing all over the place? Look at him in the preview here - he's too far left and dropping down some.
The horizontal ad is not too bad (but it is a total cliche). The vertical one makes me lose my lunch. The fat woman is totally distasteful and not in a "good way to sell product" way.
Got it, I'll switch it to fat men in underwear instead. Just kidding, I get your point. Thanks.
Like I already mentioned in the topic about the i: "I noticed the i in the second link is nudged, and it's already fixed in the original, so no point mentioning it."
Feedback appreciated nonetheless.
Damn. I need to start reading these briefs!
Sorry.
Fat? Jeez, really?
+100
Using the term relatively. She's supposed to be the "fat" one in the diet ad.
Ah! I didn't notice the links, thought you guys were just looking at the poster haha!
very bad use of flash IMHO.
the looping need a longer pause and you could use some interactivity... or use nothing at all.
for example, you can place it strategicaly to activate the viewer mouse over and make any smart changes of the picture.
yes I'm brazilian xD
Thanks for the critique so far.
As always, all feedback appreciated.
