Flash game
mrgreenish (31 points) | Thu, 2007-05-10 21:08Chek it out:) A school project of me and my team.
My final project for school. A big part of it is a waffle making game! Chek it out:) stroop waffle game
The idea behind the project was to promote a typical dutch product (in this case stroopwafels) and promote them in another country.
So first we did research.
We build a website for our Japanese target ordinance to fill in.
So we can see what kind of waffle they would like
( a more traditional one or a adaptive one).

A friend of mine promoted the website in Tokyo.
After a week had we had a clear results (206 results) that they want a original Dutch waffle.
Then we started with our campaign. Me and a friend of mine where working on the flash game that has to promote, educate and entertain users.
Two other partners made the house-style, design of the website, and a packaging (there is a picture of it in the start screen of the game).
So that is that! Thanks for reading and let me know what you think of it.

It won't let me enter a name, therefore it won't work, using OS X and safari, if that helps. Did get it working in Opera though and really like the way it is done. Although like in real life my cooking skills were not up to much. Great job. I could see this work really well in real life if you showed the ingredients and it was downloadable to an ipod - more than just a game, you could use it in the kitchen with different recipes... particlarly like the fact that when you stir the mixture it gets harder to do. Great job, thanks for sharing!
I did get it to work under OS X 10.4.9 and Safari, but couldn't seem to make it past the spreading of the jelly part. Once I spread my jelly (please, no off-color jelly-spreading comments here), it took me back to slice the waffle again.
Great idea and execution. I'll have that damed tune in my head all day now.
Love the little waffle guy.
Please post the results of your campaign when you have them. Are you planning on tracking this game's effectiveness and if so, how? I have a client that makes hamburgers and have tossed around the idea of a flash game for one of his future campaigns.
Great idea. Virtually making waffles makes me want one. :)

VERY cool.
It worked fine for me. Safari on MacOSX. 376... not so good at stirring with the track pad. ;)
High scores still haven't loaded.
A little laborious in my opinion but not much, just needs a little polish and it's all systems go.

Thanks a lot for the response.!
Strange that you couldn't enter your name. I am a safari user also but had never had trouble.
But thanks for reporting and i hope you enjoyed it.
