Flash Video

Hi All,

I'm teaching Flash courses at a school in NYC, and am trying to persuade the school to expand its Flash related course offerings to include a dedicated Flash Video course. And wanted to get this idea validated by professionals working in multimedia design industry. If possible I would love to get some statistics, as well as any observations or thoughts on this issue. I don't mind hearing objections to this idea either.

I need to prepare my presentation very carefully because there is a serious opposition from some old school folks who still think animation GIF is a cutting edge technology.
