Here is what I wrote.
If new ipod touches were more expensive I could understand it to some extent, but it really isn't fair to penalise loyal customers for purchasing what is a high end product at a high price and expecting them to pay more for a few extra features and applications which should have come with the ipod touch in the first place.
There were 14203 Signatures when i signed the petition, so if you agree please sign it. Even if you don't have a touch, it is making a stand, soon Apple may well be charging for software updates, you never know!!!
I do love Apple products but I really think they could give something back, it's the same with DRM, I purchased some tracks from the itunes store and a few days later they were available DRM free for the same price but I had to pay extra to convert the tracks I already had. Not fair IMO. OK, rant over :)

I was really really pissed off when i heard about the upgrade charge, i still did it anyways...
when I had mine cracked I got all that stuff for free.. it just would shut down alot.
apple can be jackasses
I heard of lots of people who upgraded, and had major problems with their ipods, I hope you were not one of them. I tried to downgrade after upgrading and that wouldn't happen either and Safari crashed on start up, so generally it seems that we are having more problems with the legit upgrade than the hack! Annoyed that I bothered to upgrade now.

That's where I am off to now.
Those DRM are really sucks, especially with the Rhapsody, Napster, bearshare songs. That annoys me the most.
I can't stand them anymore,
Just let those thieves suck it up with some tools

Am I not right in thinking that all you have to do with itunes (non plus) purchases is copy them onto a cd, then back onto itunes and then the drm restriction is gone? Obviously I would never dream of doing such a thing, but that's what I have heard from others.
