If i had to choose I would say (from left to right) the fourth attempt.
I use the word attempt becauce t still does not work. With the fourth version the “y’’ is most clear ”y” of them all. The patisserie illustration is what simpler than in the first. The spacing between the “y’ and the ”s” is to much. What would happen if you over extend the spoon with the patisserie so that it hang below the text patisserie? I am not sure if it works, who knows.
I like the first version. I think the spoon matches the elegant thin stems of the font better. I also like how there is a separation from the spoon and the y stem. Would it look better to line up the baselines of the apostrophe with the TM. IMHO, lower the apostrophe a little. Is patisserie your longest word?
First off - it's lightyears better than the sideways version. I think this is an excellent way to make a good idea work much better. But the execution is still off for me. You need to build a new "y" from the actual font imho. The curved top of the "f" (also the "r") would make a nice spoon shape if you flipped it and attached it to the descender on the real "y" imho (almost like a ladel). It has enough curve to it that you could sit the food in it naturally without having to bend the descender or have the food at an angle looking like it's about to drop off. That's why these all look a little clunky and uncomfortable.
But again - definitely the right track here. Big improvement - very close to done imo.

It's almost there. Also, try rounding out the spoon to match the serif font's.

Definately #1.
The y is very readable, yet not slippery or bent/broken like the others.

no man... still "over"...
you're building a logo for Tim Burton "Frey's spoonhands" movie!
and this big "S" (sorry for joke) is simply horrible.
agree with me... these classic fonts are so hard to modify without create a deformed monster.
you need a more "gourmet" font!!!
I made a better approach if you want to see.
