octavian (13 points) | Mon, 2007-08-06 21:32The idea was to make a poster with cleopatra so i started to look for good image of cleopatra but i din not find a good one, so i started in photoshop to draw something( must tell you i don`t have any art school, so my drawing skills are not good) and i realize that i should go with another image something more abstract but i didn`t want to left the drawing not finished so this is with what i came up. What do you think.

I can't really crit this without the above info, unless you want something from a basic illustrative point of view.
It actually sounds like yet -another- school project.
I actually really like the image - but I agree it's hard to critique something without more details.

It does look good. I especially like the texture of the image. Very egyptian. I think more texture on the hair and the necklace (?) is needed though to match the texture of the whole image.

As an illustration it's not bad, but not very grabbing either. As communication it doesn't tell anything.
