i think if you don't know the difference between a design course and a design degree program, you're very unlikely to succeed.
Education in anything does not guarantee you any kind of a job.
Mara
ok, thanks

There are lots of career paths out there, so your best plan is to ask yourself what do you want to do and then geer your first role around that.
If you want to be creative director in a large agency then getting as much of an insight into how those agencies work, and what they look for is a great idea (so coffee-maker may not be that far off).
If you want to be a book illustrator, get some publishing experience: find out what challenges and trials book publishers face when choosing and working with illustrators.
You'll likely find that any job you can get (and as Mara say's, there's no guarantees of 'a job', never mind 'a job in your chosen field') gives you an opportunity to learn and focuss on what you want to do, so make the most of any opportunities that arrise.
sorry but the reason why i study this is because of my high school grades, this is the only course i qualify,i don't know how to draw, please continue giving me advice thank you sir

I think you need better academic counseling. This makes no sense at all.
Mara
So you are saying that due to poor grades you only have the option of studying graphic design? Hmmm.....I'd also look into high school guidance/career counsellor...you could probably swing that too.
Paddle faster, I hear banjos.
LOL -- yes, and the only choice open to this poor student (and I mean that in both senses of the word) is design, even though s/he C'AN'T DRAW.
I often used to wonder, when I was a high school student, what gutter they hauled the guidance counselors out of. Even then, back when your average high school kid knew Latin, calculus, and how to string a sentence together that made sense to at least three other people, the guidance counselors were clueless cardboard cutouts. God only knows how we all found our ways to the right colleges, seminaries, cosmetics counters or whatever we were destined for. Sad, really.
Mara
I really don't know what i want to do or what i want to be in the future
what else can you say??
would you be my guidance counsellor??
*niel02*
Your answer is blowin' in the wind.
Good luck.

Well, if you want to be taken seriously you better:
1. Improve your spelling, "coyrse" is not a word; it's "course".
2. Improve your grasp of the english language (unless of course you are looking for work in another country).
3. Learn how to draw, it's kinda crucial.
