Future Sign Business Cards

These are the cards we decided on for our sign shop. The have no name on them so they can be used by our entire team.

I personally love the vertical card compared to the landscape card, just because it stands out a bit.

The back of this card has our Future Kustoms info on it, which I will be posting next for you to critique.

I actually like this. It's a decent composition, although i would've toned down that purple a little it's a good card...

Generally - it almost works for me. The reflex blue in the other one is better than this purple imo. Remove the white outline around the logo and rework the size of all the text... either move the purple divider up and put everything reversed out of the purple, or divide the card in half and make the top text larger (and centered - not justified) and reduce the text on the bottom.

Oh yeah - and redesign the logo. :-)

I prefer the purple to the blue and the white keyline isn't bothering me at all...but I would thicken it up.

I don't like the forced justification on top. Either center the text as per Art's suggestion or switch up a couple of the words so that the kerning is somewhat consistent:

Signs Banners Vehicle Wraps
Indoor Signs Window Lettering
Business Cards Flyers T-Shirts

The super sized tel number isn't bad, but the rest of the contact hierarchy needs to be addressed.

Thanks guys for the comments. The purple is actually what is used in the logo, but even this jpeg seems to make it brighter than what it actually is. I think my files are losing something when I upload them to the site. Or perhaps I am saving them with the wrong color profiles.

Either way I appreciate it.

3dogmama - How would you address the contact hierarchy?

You could try 10 or 11pt for the tel #; 8.5 or 9 pt for the email; and 7 or 7.5/8.5 for the address...but it's really up to you. If you have seniors straddling hogs then I'd up what I suggested by a point or two.

You could spend a little more on production and make them 4 page so that they fold at the top, that way they would stand up on people's desks like A-boards!

Not bad. Seems a bit skewed to the right though...is that just the upload or is it centered on your card?

Also, I'm not sure I'd put your Kustoms logo on the other side...it doesn't really go. I'd play with the logo on the other side (after changing it, of course). That way the two sides of the card "go" together.

I would have to say it's the upload, as the card came out centered.

We kinda want the two sides to differentiate from each other, as they are two totally different aspects of what we do. Perhaps we should have just made two separate cards.
