Google implements more AJAX, this time on their main product - Google Search.

For some queries now you will see a little "+" icon that you can click to reveal some more rich data information. As a first step they have added stock data and maps. Try searching for Apple to experience it.

It's a great idea, but would be even more useful if it worked on other searches, even just to give a paragraph of what the page may contain. I tried Orange and there was nothing. I guess its in its infancy though. I searched for Dell and IBM and you get the stock info without hitting the + which is even more useful.

Yes, I agree it would be immensely useful if it were to give a snapshot of the website. Even a thumbnail would be somewhat useful.

Unfortunately this doesn't work with my Safari ... although afaik Safari is capable of displaying Ajax?! Strange...

Works in Safari for me. I just tried it. Are you sure? Remember not all search results will have this option.

I open Camino, type "apple" in the Google search box, there I get the "+". I copy the URL of my search, open Safari, paste the URL, and it won't show up. Even when I reload it with PithHelmet disabled, no change.
