You know I'm not a fan of the Google logos, but the latest one is really outrageous. As I was telling a friend of mine the only thing missing are the candles for me to throw up. I feel like in kindergarden.

Eh... what else could they have done with it? I mean.. I don't really expect them to go through a long development process with sketches and refinements and all that just for a fun little logo mod to commemorate an occasion. And at least it was nicely illustrated... it could have just been some clip art!
I read somewhere that there's a fulltime designer there just for the holiday logos.
