Granola La Gavilla Logo Design

'LA' will be lost when reduced...maybe not pertinent tho...as will the indian patterning within the 'A's of 'GAVILLA'...

I would brighten up the colors, they feel sort of dull. The curvy grain pic kind of reminds me of fire more than grain. What is the green part supposed to be? Is that like a rope holding it all together?

When I think of granola, I'm already thinking dull, blah... Show me french fries or an ice cream and I light up. So you're having to make something that is normally bland (and healthy) jump out at me when I see it.

Yes, the green part is a rope or a tape.
By the way, "Gavilla" means a tied pile of wheat ears.

all these dark strokes... I don't know... it seems heavy enough

don't like that cheap green... the color spectrum should be light olive brown to moderate or light yellowish brown. this so strong orange makes me tired =\

There's an idea here, but the application needs work.

when i first saw it, especially at thumbnail size, i thought that was a broom.

Yes I think the attached Logo2 became lighter but you still could choose a better colour combo visiting sites like "kuler" http://kuler.adobe.com/
