I really like this version. It's very original, unique, simple, and easy to remember. I also really like the type on the bottom.
I wonder though, if it would work in every medium. Does it work with black and white only? and, is it still recognizable at smaller sizes.

I really like this. It's elegant and fun. I'm concerned, though, about the gradients and drop shadows. They add a lot to the design, but you won't always be able to use them. Without them, the white parts of the logo will disappear.
Mara
This looks great and feels very clean although I see Mara's point - you would lose the white areas. Why not post other variations so we can see how this would work in other environments such as flat black and white printing?
