First of all, I apologise to any American people who may find this offensive. It was a brief set by amnesty International for my University. The poster is supposed to show the kinds of causes Amnesty stands up for. Guantanamo Bay - Prisoners paraded like a Circus
Any comments are appreciated here. Amnesty Loved it.

Nicely done. With this one (Guantanamo) I don't love the line spacing. Should be tighter with "Guantanamo" and "Bay", looser in the text block below it ("prisoners of war".... "hooded-chained").
You've certainly got that circus feeling over the post..
And that broken ticket is definitly very good and if you take time and read what it says on the ticket, it's ever better!

Great execution (not so sure of the subject matter) but nevertheless spot on.
If you are a UK based person you might remember the recent BBC TVadverts for their last big free festival it used the circus theme really well. (great fonts , pointing fingers on extendable arms etc ! great fun and V. effective).

But your design gets over alot of text well without images. Quite an achievement. well done ....
ps is this competition approach often done by amnesty ?

Thanks all for the comments, nice to know it communicates! I'm not too happy with the strap line at the bottom though, ie - how it is layed out...any suggestions?
The brief was set by Amnesty for a YCN/Roses brief (can't remember which), Not sure how often they set them but "Witness" have also set briefs in previous years much in the same way as this one.

I like the piece overall, however that font is widely saturated and looks too much like the WPT advertising campaign. Just my 2 cents if you plan on actually *publishing* it. =)
i like it. the feel is similar with my assignment.. lol
and i think u should put some color for the background, mayb? 10% for all magenta, cyan and yellow. and the red can be darker. :)
