The ghosted image in the backdrop is a little distracting. It looks like there is some sort of posterize effect going on with that image and it is taking away from the legibility of your message. I like the image but I would try stay with something subtle like a faded duotone with less contrast to stay consistent with what is going on in the bottom portion of the ad.
"We cater..."
I mistook this for a caterer.

i like it pretty alright except the bright yellow in the background.
Yeah, I agree. The yellow background was a little wild. The original intent to create a light background for the text failed.
Cater - hmm, valid point. In South Africa this would have been understood correctly, but since it was for tourists - maybe not.
On the double posts - when I posted I was taken to a url of the image. That's it. I guess most people press back and repost - since it looks like an error.

i think the cater problem is a grammatical one. and maybe american english grammar instead of british english grammar, not sure.
in america, we'd say "cater to," not "cater for."
It's the verb "cater" that's the problem, definitely. I'd pick a different verb than that, especially for a children's center like this one.

i don't think the word cater in and of itself is a problem. one of the definitions of cater is "provide what is desired or needed, especially support, food or sustenance."
it's very common in the english language to say something like "we will cater to your every need."
but the difference between "cater for" and "cater to" does subtly change the direction of the meaning.
True, and point taken. I'd still use a different verb. They aren't catering to needs as much as they are providing care to children, so it's an indirect service rather than direct (the market here is the parents, not the kids).

Oh, it's not a dog kennel catering to the pooches of vacationing dog owners? Another bit of confusion rears its fuzzy head ;-)
