Better english would be, 'What's Missing?' or 'What's missing from this picture?'
Also, you neglected to remove the other wooden parts of the guitar!

Client: "can you guys make it more like a power-point presentation, you know, with the sliding text stuff and all?" (http://clientcopia.com/quotes.php?id=7)
Well, the image and text don't combine to form the powerful message of your piece which is 'conserve the forests'.
What's your message? Per what Ivan said, you need to define it more clearly for yourself before you can convey it.

if this is the visual you are looking for, designing the poster, printing it out on an ink jet, nailing the poster to a wall, then photographing the poster, and making the photo the actual ad, would be much nicer.
I think this is going in the correct direction as far as overall concept, but it needs that extra push to make it more immediate. Right now, the execution is a bit wobbly (for reasons mentioned above).
Some examples of different spins from the same concept:
Concept A: Wood Substitution
Using substituted materials. What if the traditional instruments that are made out of wood had the wood substituted with some other off-the-wall non-organic material? Do some interesting forced connections and see what you can come up with. The more opposite the material vs. purpose, the more immediate the point is.
Concept B: Where would music / musicians be without wood? (har har, yes I get the dirty inuendo)
Re-imagine what popular bands or musicians whose careers revolved around their fabled wood instruments would be like if they had no wood available back before they were famous. For example, BBKing playing a plastic toy guitar. Or The Beatles Quartet (since they had no instruments).

These are just suggestions to help spur more creative directions, by no means am I saying these are solutions. Keep it up!

This is too simple. You need to take the idea further. Think harder!
