I think the shape is not memorable, just strange. Without negative space could be more interesting because I feel it heavy.
The type is a little obvious for the segment that claim a little more refreshness or some elegance.

Love that name - Hack•Art•Lab... makes me want to say "JUDO CHOP!" afterwards.

Why not have all the letters in your little chemistry experiment / soap bubble thing? H-A-L... Have them all connected like some kind of proton or whatever it's supposed to be. Definitely needs some refinement here.

thanks for the feedback...ive been struggling with this for a little awhile and just needed a critique to help with my direction. the inspiration is from those molecule models i used to see in science books. i didnt want to depict anything that was obviously science (i.e. beack, vials, etx.) because thats not what the company is about. so i tried to abstract it a little. it also supposed to make an H...ill work some more and see what i can come up with.
