a few tweaks.
Still think a design studio logo is the hardest logo to do, so I have tried to stay away from being literal as so many logo designs are these days.
please let me know what you think.

I see "South Asian Youth Peace Meet" clearly had an influence in the production of this last logo.
this last one is SOOO much better. but its still not right.
the h in the leading icon reads as a b.
before i saw this last one, my response was "1987 called. they want their logos back"

I agree, the last one reads as a b, not a h. Have you tried just varying font weight between your name and "design" and not the case? It seems a bit awkward to have your name lower and design in all caps.
Still think the top one has the most promise, but helenscott together is not working - use color or spacing to correct that. And I'd still like to see DESIGN disappear into negative space on both ends instead of having the tiny sliver of color on the ends.
