Hello, I am new here...
ijoselito (8 points) | Tue, 2008-02-05 14:53My name is Jose. I live in Brighton, in the south coast of England. I arrived here 4 years ago from Spain.
I am a 30 years old programming student. At the moment I am completing a video games module, but also I am trying to set up a community of freelance users in Brighton, UK.
Our strategy is to use the resources (freelancers really) that are available here but at the moment are not being used. I have meet some many skilled people in the same circumstances I was 4 years ago here in Brighton, I think that altogether we can make a difference.
As it happened, 4 years ago I was a skilled IT prepared to work, but I couldn't speak one word of English. There are many designers, photographers, programmers and artists here that are in this situation, hopefully I can help some of them.
So I started a project with this idea, I called it None Interaction Project. We rapidly started working with a few little web projects. Now we are 5 members that really want to make this happen.
As beginners we would very gladly accept any feedback or ideas on our projects, I (personally) thought it would be a good idea to post here.
I will post the logo and the original artwork for our projects so some of you can have a look at it and tell us what you think...
Any initial advise...?
Thanks...

we are keen to participate in any kind of projects, so we have tried to represent that in the logo...there is a vowel "i" in the middle of this texts bubbles, all wrapped by a computer screen displaying the CMYK colors...
We are still working on it, what do you think?
Thanks in advance...

Excusez-moi, mais our country's second language is french. What did you just say to the newcomer? Did you comment on the logo?

It's a nice start, but I'm not crazy about the gray. I think it's killing your design.
Maybe try:
1) filling the bubbles with a solid black (the black corner of course having the colours in reverse); "i" would print white; or
2) filling the bubbles with the CMYK on top of a white background; "i" would print black; or
3) filling the bubbles with the background colour's counterpart; ie. black bubble on the blue, pink bubble on the yellow and so forth.
Otherwise, I don't mind the look. The boxed-in units also drive home the idea of unification.

we are still working on this. I think we are going in good direction but it always better to have some other point of view...
Thanks very much...

When I look at the logo without knowing what it's for, I realize it doesn't communicate to me. Think of was for it to represent your group and say what you do without saying it literally...
