Help with Entourage

Hi all

I have been having an issue with Entourage for ages now in regards to file attachments. Whenever I attach any file to an email, it seems to add another 1MB on top of the file size. However, when the recipient receives it, it's the correct size.

I've attached a grab of an example email so you can see what I mean.

Anyone got any ideas?
