Help Guys / Girls
liamparkinson (43 pencils) | Sun, 2006-03-05 10:42Hey, need some help from the guys and girls out there. I am studying Graphic Design at the Leeds Art College, and i am coming up to my final major project, but this one i have to write, and get it ok'd by my tutor and the college board. But i am stuck with ideas as what to do for my final project, any ideas at all? feed them in, i will be most grateful!

What scale/size of a project are you looking at?
Im looking at something that would require alot of research into, and more then one final piece, say a final piece and promo items? im looking at maybe 2 - 3 months of work for the final major project.

Your request made me think of a couple of ideas, both evolving around complementary colors (colors opposite to each other on the color wheel). Idea#1 was a model of a city, where buildings, grounds, and adjacent items.. All are in complementary colors..
That idea made me think why not (idea#2) come up with a game. A card game, also based on complementary colors and, of course, provokes thinking.. I don't have any idea about the game though :)

Hmm, you're in the exact same boat as me. I'm in the process of writing my FMP right now.
As for an idea, how about a promotion for a film festival or something? Banners, postcards, adshels - loads to do. Quite a few guys in my class are doing just that. Won't share my idea ofcourse.
